stranger than fiction was an independently made immersive visual installation created inspired by the book 'entangled life' by biologist merlin sheldrake, based and fitted within one small basement room in moorgate. each element was handmade and modelled off of real species of fungi that could feasibly grow within the room. the installation also featured a scent made by scientist aiden kirkwood that included chemicals found from wet earth, rain, and mushrooms.
